Steps to run Android N 7.0 on Windows and Mac PC [Guide]

Google has recently launched Android N 7.0 preview version for Nexus devices. This version has been released very quickly followed by the Android 6.1 version. However the users of android smartphones will get the official update of the Nutella which is Android N 7.0.

But those who are very much interested about Android N can try that by installing the Android 7.0 in their PC. It is possible in the operating systems like Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Even the users of Mac OD Macbook Pro, Air can also install this operating system. But they may have the doubt how to install that on the device. If you are one among them then the following steps will be effective.

#1 First of all you have to download the Android SDK installer   from a trusted site.

#2 Now set up the Android SDK.exe files to a location as you want.

#3 After that, visit the location where the files were installed    and run the application “SDK Manager”

#4 Wait until the application is loaded and fetch every Android    SDK packages.

#5 Once it is loaded completely, you can select the package which    you want to install. Rather than other files it is better to    select Android SDK platform tools and the Android N (API 23).

#6 As the next step, click on the “install packages” button and    you will be asked to confirm the packages which you have chosen    already. Meanwhile you have to accept the license information    then only you can proceed to the next step.

#7 Finally click the install button and wait until the packages are   downloaded and installed in the device.

By following these steps you can easily download and install the installer in the PC. But doing these things alone will not run the Android N 7.0 in it. You have to setup the Android Emulator to run it on the PC. To setup that emulator properly, you can follow the steps which are mentioned below.

#8 Go the folder of Android SDK and run the “AVD Manager” and      click the create button.

Thereby you are able to modify the settings which are present there otherwise you can move to the next step without changing anything.

(It is always better to prefer  the default value of the “Max VM application heap”.Since the android operating system is supported on many displays, you are able to explore and try that with many    devices by choosing any of the option in the dropdown box    specially given for device selection.)

#9 Now you can select the virtual device which have created form    the dropdown list and click on the start button.

#10 A pop up window for Launching options will be displayed and     thereby you can select launch button but you should not change       anything in the options.

#11 The emulator will start running by following some command    prompt windows and then the android device will boot.

#12  After five minutes, you can see the Android 7.0 screen on the    device and it indicates that the procedures are successfully completed .
